I don't know how well a 6'-6" post player would do in the SEC. Judging from his highlights, he appears to be a back to the basket type of player, which was successful for him at Tulane, but will it be against the size we see in the SEC? He'll land somewhere - but he doesn't appear to be a true wing despite having wing size.

I noticed that too but found the ambidexterity to be a bit fascinating. Roberson did OK as an undersized big so you never know.

Would prefer Dre Davis but since Seton Hall just won the NIT on national TV, he's no secret.

Holloway seems to be a ferocious defender and we sure need some of that.

Roberson was probably more of a large wing. Most seasons about 30-40% of his attempts were from three and he hit 39.4% of those attempts for his career. He was also an 80+% FT shooter for his career and a very strong rebounder. He could score inside but he could score from everywhere.

Holloway had a breakout season, and appears to be a decent shooter, but his bread and butter was posting up and scoring inside. He is certainly better than Jamaine Mann and Emanuelle Ansong to list a pair of undersizes posts we've had recently. He would also have been the 2nd best post players on this year's team. Compared to that he is attractive, but when you juxtapose him with Davis he is a step below

There seems to be a lot of very high end talent available in the portal this season. Lots of players from blue bloods and really good players from all levels are out there.

Good size and rebounding but a turnover machine. Pretty good shooter but for some reasons struggles finishing inside the arc despite having really good size. Strong contrast with Jalen Carey, who didn't turn the ball over much at all and made his shots inside the arc at a very high rate but struggled in his shooting from the line and from three.

Didn't this guy hit some insane % from three last season? Good FT shooter too.

My feeling is maybe high mid-major? MVC/Sunbelt/MAC?

Buffalo is a decent academic state school and hurting for talent since Oats left. That would be a good ending point for him.

Yes, he hit 44% of his threes but only took about 1.4 threes per game - he did hit 77% of his FT's, so he is probably someone who can hit over 35% of his threes given enough volume, but isn't likely to hit 45% consistently.

I'd agree some level below high major would probably be the best fit for him. Not sure why he converted so few of his chances inside the arc, but hitting 44.5% of his two point attempts on 220 shots is not great. I'd guess there is some lack of either quickness or athleticism that hampered him, given that he has good size.
