Meghan Meserole competed in the Cactus Collegiate Challenge (Dec. 28-30). I haven't seen a report on how she did.

Last word on Men's Golf is from November and VUCommodores.com. Matthew Riedel, Gordon Sargent, and Cole Sherwood have been named to the watch list for the 2024 Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel, as announced by Golf Channel and the Haskins Foundation Thursday.

Created in 1971, the Haskins Award is given annually to the most outstanding men’s college golfer, as voted on by players, coaches, and media members. Past winners include Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Matt Kuchar, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, and the reigning winner, Ludvig Aberg (a stud for the European Team in the recent Ryder Cup).

It's great to see Tillie Claggett close out 2022 with a bang, shooting a final round 61 to erase a 9-stroke deficit and win the Patriot All-America tournament.
