The 8 foot tall guy off the bench for Tech?ForeverHopeful wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 5:07 pm That was the least skilled Big I have seen in a long time.
He's actually from South Africa but played for McCallie in Chattanooga.
Trevecca had a 7-footer who wasn't even good enough to start. Tall does not always = athletic.

This guy was listed as 7’2” and the few minutes he was in threw a wrench into things just because he was such a large obstacle. Tanner matching up with him was funny. He couldn’t do much else but just get in our way.

I was at the game. He could not run, his jump height was something like 18", he never put his hands up to block, and only got a rebound because his hands were in the vicinity of where the ball happened to fall, most of the time he started to run to our end of the court when one of his teammates shot, he did not seem to want to rebound, and he was out of place on defense 90% of the time.ForeverHopeful wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 7:27 pm This guy was listed as 7’2” and the few minutes he was in threw a wrench into things just because he was such a large obstacle.
