Coach Ralph is in Colorado Springs working with the U18 national team, but the other three coaches, Tom Garrick, Ashley Earley and Kevin Demille have a full weekend ahead of them with stops in seven different places. I'm not sure if there is a provision that would allow us to substitute another coach into the recruiting rotation while our head coach is busy with team USA duties. If so, then Kyla Irwin would be the logical person.
And, while coach Ralph is in Colorado, she will be working with at least three recruits with offers or who have visited: Kaelyn Carroll, Divine Bourrage and Layla Hays. If her presence helps wrap up even one of those, it would be time well spent.
By the way, you can't actually talk with recruits at these summer tourneys, so that lessens the impact of coach Ralph's absence.
