Re: 2024-25 Transfer Tracker
here is link to a site (not an ncaa site but say its using NCAA data and new reports) purporting to show NIL per power five PUBLIC school. I have no way of knowing how good this data is, but found it very interesting. Hopefully some of you have a better sense of all this. https://nil-ncaa.com/power5/

Re: Sure sounds like Pavia would like to be back at VU next year
If he wins his court case and given the reach of the NIL the impact could be really far reaching. A lot of players would make more money staying a year or two or longer in "college" than riding the bench in the NFL. I wonder if pay in the SEC or Big10 would be higher than in the CFL. Certa...

Frankly, I'm ok with a three loss team not being included. The ASU and Boise St byes, however, are ridiculous.

Re: TCU
Wonder what percentage of us are retired geezers…like me.
I’m in year two, has its ups and downs. Do some volunteer stuff but do miss the competition and even stress of working. Not that I’m looking to go back to working either!!!

Re: 2024-25 Transfer Tracker
Anyone have any idea how our NIL funding stacks up to others in the league? The pro leagues all have salary caps and other rules. This is much more wide open, hopefully when the dust settles there will be some rules and a cap of sorts. Year one of our NIL was more successful than expected. (And my g...

Re: 2 players I like to watch
I’ve enjoyed and appreciated the effort of a number of players over the past few years. But this team is back to what I remember as Vandy hoops, passing and movement. The intensity in D, however, is—to me anyway—unique and totally awesome. While I share concerns regarding rebounding and the strength...

I buy that Auric. Has the NIL evened things up or is it just one of those things. I guess we'll find out over the next few years.

Re: OT: Free Throw Parades Stink
I wasn’t a big fan of the shot clock. And I’m still getting over the three point shot. And don’t get me started on all the video replays and challenges. Yes the free throw contests at the end of close (and too often not so close) games can be annoying. But adding even more regulations, sorry I mean ...
