Re: Debbie Downer passing through…CCL
In my opinion, it'll be Tim Beck and Jerry Kill that other schools will try to pry away. I'm not sure coach Kill will be interested with his health issues. Not sure if Beck would be looking for another HC opportunity. I think Kill will probably hang around for reasons others have cited. We should h...

Re: St. Louis: Brady Cook is releasing passes quicker. What does that mean for the Tigers?
In both the VA Tech and GA Tech games, the opponent's best receiver was able to get loose and make big plays at key moments. Luther Burden is a Missouri Tiger. I would have had heartburn already, and just to add to the dyspepsia, Brady Cook is by far the best QB Vanderbilt has faced so far and argua...

Re: analyzing a 55-0 win
Someone complained yesterday that they were disappointed we didn't have 500 yards or more. Well, when you have a defensive TD and a punt return, that is two offensive possessions we don't have. Ad to that, most of our possessions started better than our 40 yard line. That too eliminates the distanc...

Re: analyzing a 55-0 win
nly knock on the Alcorn game is I wish we'd kept the Stowers card hidden until a later game when we really need it. Loved it regardless, hopefully it went somewhat unnoticed and will again surprise... This I had the same thought... but that can work the other way too. Now every opposing LB or safet...

Re: College football would be better if there were no games like this one on Saturday
Shug Jordan would have called off the dogs. Nothing wrong with 41-0, but scoring 70-plus (on anybody that doesn't come from Knoxville) is disrespectful of the opponent and the game. I do not mean to imply that Freeze posesses a shred of decency, but even coaches who do are probably influenced by th...

Re: analyzing a 55-0 win
Re will it work in the SEC: Won't work reliably against upper echelon SEC teams. I don't think we will upset Bama Texas or THEM. Won't work to the tune of 55-0 against any SEC team Could win in a close game against a lower tier SEC team. But we will still - rightly - be underdogs. And will have to p...

Re: For all you football gurus?
I feel like this offense is built to challenge / beat a few SEC teams but will not do much against the upper half of the conference. Seems like a fine strategy to me though...run as many plays as possible, use as much clock as possible, keep opposing offenses off the field. Agree. Scheme and play c...

If students were turned away that's an admin thing and needs to get fixed
This sounds more like calling out the admin than calling out the fans
