Re: Question for all
If Coaches Lea and Franklin were let go in the same year, hoe many of you would want him back? I, personally, would disband the program before hiring him back. I didn't like the way he handled the rape incident and then, after saying he wanted to be buried under the star V, then ran off to Ped Stat...

Re: The potential next coach thread
Yep. xCJF was terrific. Particularly, in his messaging- but he also had a lot of decent Bobby Johnson players that just needed some motivation/belief- and a "down" UGA, FL, and Tennessee too. Perfect storm is right. Good for him for having the guts to go to Vandy, and capitalize on it tho...

Re: VU makes the final two for Jermaine O'Neal, Jr.
I don't know anything about this recruit (well, other than apparently who his father is). I do know that we are better than SMU in every way - location, conference, academics, history.
So if CMB wants this guy, we *should* get him.

Re: Saturday is critical
Absolutely agree. We've squandered opportunities in the past and lost very winnable games. UNLV last year comes painfully to mind. Rain may keep the crowd away and perhaps even delay the game. But we have to be extremely focused and take care of business. Being 3-0 going to Mizzou with a full head ...

... outside of recruiting players who are less concerned about how much NIL dollars they get up front and are more worried about how they are able to develop as a student athlete. Even then, I think that's a pipe dream at this point. Most players (and most Vandy players especially) are never seeing...

Re: College football would be better if there were no games like this one on Saturday
I don't know what that rule would look like. Is it okay for Vandy to play those games, but not Alabama? Is it okay for Appalachian State to play those games (because they can win), but not Alabama A&M? No one wants to see a top 10 team annihilate an overmatched opponent ... but it's not just a v...

Re: VU to get a visit from DC area G Derek Dixon
Just my opinion but if one can't sign top players......the portal is a better way to go rather than sign projects. I agree ... to an extent. I think it depends on the size of the project, and to what extent you think said player is committed to VU. Our experience under Stack involved guys leaving l...
